It looks like it’s dying down, was fairly calm last night and not as strong today. Calm again tonight, hopefully the temperatures will start to rise.

When we took our boat to the Riviera twice, we were hit by the Mistral. Locals told us the wind would last either 3, 6 or 9 days.

Both times it was 9 days. The second trip left us wind bound in St Raphael Marina. The clank clank of rope against masts/cables inside masts nearly drove me insane!

We’ve been in a caravan and many times in the motorhome.

The mistral has accompanied us on every trip!

We ve moved back across, near Manosque. Reckoning on it dieing out tomorrow. (Hopefully)

We're in Apt. It's been lovely today. Occasional gusts of wind, but nothing serious. Good forecast for tomorrow.
We've got a very sunny and sheltered pitch on the municipal campsite - £29.50 for 2 nights (can't remember how much it was on Euros) - clean showers and toilets, washing machine 3.5 Euros, very convenient for the town and voie verte and cheaper than the less well-located CCP aire.
We're planning on moving on by a few miles on Tuesday.

We must have been having the side of it, as it's been really windy here for days. In fact, today was the worst, although it's spookily calm now.

We stayed at the CCP Aire out by the lake this time last year and it was only €15, has it went up that much or do they have a different one.

Sorry lorger, my mistake . It's 17 Euros here and 15 at the CCP site.
For us, with a dog, the campsite is much better. We are right in the town and didn't need to use the bikes or the bus in order to visit the Saturday Market.
This morning, while we have tree-shade on the van, we will leave him for a couple of hours and go out on the bikes.
Weather update - cold and clear this morning. We're just about to switch the heating on .
Méteo forecast- sunny and 25 degrees, wind rising to 15kph, this afternoon.
