I know this has come up before but I have tried to get an answer of Gov etc with no avail. The Euro period for campervans states March 1 2003 to Dec 31 2006 is £140 ved. The 1 Jan 2009 to 31 Dec 2010 is £140 also .So any van built between 31 Dec 2006 and 1 Jan 2009 should be same ..but why is the period not listed ? The only useful answer I got was that my 2007 (gave them reg no etc ) van was the vin info is " CO2 emissions L5 depollution " whatever that means. Anyone know any more ?

Anyone know ?

Not quite sure what you are asking, the Euro rating for a vehicle and the VED are not the same thing. Motorhomes are graded by revenue weight not emissions standards. There are three categories, two by engine size if under 3500kgs rev wgt and PHGV if over 3500kgs.
If I misunderstood and you are looking at introduction of emissions std this link may be useful:

C/vans listed between March 1 2003--Dec 31 2006 £140 year ( euro 4 )-----Jan 1 2009 -Dec 31 2010 £140.on the site I have been looking at but dates in between are missing --must be Euro 4 though ?

I have been in touch with Citroen over the C02 emissions rating for my camper and they have told me its Vin data lists as L5 Depollution ---anyone know what it means ?

In the depths of my memory around that period I'm sure that they started to charge higher rates of VED based on emmissions.
VW found this out the hard way when in 2006/7 they started to put CO2 amounts on the V5 for the T4, & 5 vans & campers. This attracted a plg VED of around £500 per year & Vw immediately stopped furnishing CO2 amounts for theese vehicels.
This is whay anyone in the VW scene is very wary of vehicles around that period as some have the £140 tax & plenty of others have the £500+ tax. It may well be the same with other vehicles.
once it was registered at that VED amount it cannot be changed. made the vehicles unsellable except at reduced rates.
