Stopped at the George at tiffield the other night just of the A43 near towcester a good pub stopover electric and water available with basic but good reasonable priced food available just phone in advance.

Always good to have recommendations.

We stopped at a pub in Bagshot a few weeks ago, Good reviews on S4S about the parking and people saying how good the home cooked food was.
It was naff, parking on a slope in front of rubbish & old tyres, no way was the food home cooked it was microwaved expensive rubbish.

Often see rave reviews about pub food but it's nearly always rubbish these days, people don't seem to be able to cook any more so if it's hot and looks vaguely like food they give it a good review.

When I suggest a pub stop the boss's normal reply is I don't want eat awful pub food again.

A few miles away is 'The Navigators' at Stoke Bruerne with another pub the other side of the canal to choose from. The Navi gators has a reasonable sized car park and adjacent is a CAMC CL
