Every year Virgin put the price up and I call to discuss it and get the price put down
This year they wanted to put it up by £3 a month. They are now doubling the speed (which I don't need) and the price is going down by £2 a month. Does anyone just pay without complaining?

Depends. If it’s just a few pence then I just suck it up.
On car insurance I always Comparethemarket first and use that info to challenge the renewal The RAC refused to budge after a large increase so accepted the AAs much lower offer

This has reminded me I need to ring Virgin. My bill for broadband only has crept up to nearly £50.
BT were charging us for broadband as part of our phone bill. BT broadband is terrible in this area. It took a lot of sorting but management got it down to calls only.

I ring them. I left last year after they wanted £60 for a phone line and broadband.

They then offered just the broadband for £25 a month for 18 months then £50. It’s safe to say, I won’t be paying the £50.

No but had to be on the verge of leaving last year before someone rang me and we got it sorted

I hated Talk Talk - it was the biggest bain of my life when we were customers. I had to upgrade my mum's account with Talk Talk to get broadband recently. TalkTalk remained an absolute pain to deal with during that process.

I am paying approx. £50 / month for Medium TV, Phone & around 100MBs broadband with one box. How does that compare to what you are paying?

I'm now paying £35 for 100mb broadband phone line inclusive calls at weekends and SIM only unlimited calls txt and 5gb data. I don't use the home phone and I don't need 100mb broadband, 5gb data ony mobile means I can stream TV and Netflix when away

Paying sky £55 a month superfast broad band no cap
free calls 59 min calls hang up redial free again
two boxes HD and variety pack:RollEyes::Smile:

I'm paying Talktalk £19.95 month for fibre broadband, no calls because i use mobile. Any problems with Talktalk are rare but when they happen are sorted really quick. So no need to change for several years now.

Nah. Virgin requires yearly phone calls for a decent price. Every year I ask them to drop the price by dropping the phone line, they offer a price significantly under broadband only price if I agree to keep the phone line. The phone line was strimmed through several years ago and hasn't worked since.
