I see VW are going their own way with their new Crafter. This is after some years of sharing the platform with Mercedes Benz. No surprises that companies are already showing interest in producing conversions using the new base vehicle.
I think its a good looking vehicle too but I'd reserve judgement until the new vehicle has been tried & tested, so if I was buying new it'd still be a Sprinter.

Certainly a lot easier on the eye than the previous model which didn't win any beauty contests. The cockpit looks really nice and very car like. The reasonably straight sides should appeal to converters too.

All down to price I guess!!

Have Mercedes addressed the rust issues with the Sprinter yet? I would rather go down the Fiat, Peugeot route if they haven't. I saw a 09 sprinter today, it was a heap of rust around the sills, arches and back doors.
