This is not a question, just a huge thankyou to the couple who posted in 2017 (?) how to get a card back from between the front dash and the windscreen. Someone (not me) lost his credit card down there earlier today just as we were heading to Spain for six weeks. In desperation I googled for a solution and your post came up. We had a fly swat ( even in January ), tape and ten minutes. Hey presto, one card retrieved and a very relieved couple. Thank you.

Gap between windscreen and dashboard
Have you ever lost something down that gap? I put our newly purchased Swiss vignette on the dashboard whilst I put on seatbelt, and it promptly slid out of sight down the gap. Ducato 2015 on. Thanks to resourceful hubby it was retrieved. By chance that evening we camped next to a couple whose...

After the day from hell, none of which I could be blamed for!, accidentally emptying the fresh water instead of the grey; hitting a warned about huge pothole at speed bouncing everything in every cupboard out of place then losing the credit card which was needed for pre booked events...a million thanks could be classed as an understatement for the relief I felt at the time

After that incident, I tried Minxy ‘s fix of cutting a wedge out of some pipe lagging to fill the gap. However, it didn’t work very well as it wouldn’t stay in place.
So I bought this from Amazon and, after trimming to length, fits perfectly and looks much neater.
