You can convert to a voucher well before you use it ( I think a year) but you can only use one voucher at a time, so wait until last minute!

To clarify you can use multiple tescos vouchers but only of generated voucher for Irish ferries / euro tunnel etc but note if you generate a travel voucher in error tesco will reverse the transaction so you can reuse the tesco vouchers - I did that last year
