Tesco SIM

The last time we went to Portugal we used a Tesco sim in our mifi box. It worked faultlessly for the 2 months we were there and cancelled it on return home.

I went into Tesco this morning with a view to taking out their £30 per month unlimited contract with a 30 day cancellation and was told Tesco do not support the the use of mifi boxes and there was a chance that it could be cut off if they check.

So question is has anyone using a Tesco sim had it cut off for using a mifi box.

I never got my Tesco data only sim to work in the UK in a Huawei WiFi router. And then found out about the unsupported bit. It seems random if it works or not as others do get away with it.

This is a standard sim with mins and text as well…..I just don’t use the mins and text

I have the Tesco sim in my HUAWEI mi-fi and it works home and abroad. I believe that when my contract ends they intend restricting use of it abroad. I will junk it if that is the case when the time comes.
