I Make Schoolboy Errors!
So I've spent a small fortune. I have the posh Teltonika RUTX50 updated to latest firmware. I have the Poynting 4x4 mimo antenna.

I'm barely getting a data connection. Currently on the C&CC Bowness in Windermere site and lucky to see 0.5mbps download measured on the Teltonika itself. It appears to have a single connection. Auto everything it gets Band 20 4G. Manual blocking band 20 (which is the closet mast according to cellmapper), I can get a band 28 connection but no speed improvement as it's so far away. Aggregation is not happening. I've tried specific apn rather than auto of 3internet. No difference.

My Samsung phone on Tesco (02) is getting a poor 7mbps.

I know you can't polish a turd if there is nothing to get in signal. But it shouldn't be this bad in a fairly populated area?

Am I getting something wrong in settings and auto simply manual is no good.

EDIT: Poynting not Panorama antenna. Too much :drinks:

Could antenna connection order play a part? I think I saw a forum reference to ‘main’ leads being connected to the outside antenna ports (ant0 & ant3), ‘aux’ leads to inner ports (ant1 & ant2).

As far as I can tell there are no main leads from the Panorama 4x4mimo. All are equal?

Now I'm not an expert on this, closer to a numpty really, but I'm sure I read on here that Poynting Puck antennas can be poorer than no aerial in rural locations where the signal frequency is 800mHz(?).
If you have a look at the specification tab in the link you gave above this might give an insight.
However, best check with more knowledgeable Funsters, eg Lenny HB ,starquake

Our Poynting antenna leads are marked as main/aux by labels near the connector? That said, I’ve also read conflicting forum posts regarding whether the antenna connection order has importance.

Also wondering about Three network coverage at your location and whether you have a Three sim or another piggy back service like Smarty? We tend to have both Three and EE sims onboard to switch between if/as necessary.

Well, before you spend more time tinkering about with the settings I think I've found the issue.

What you've gone and done is parked in the wrong place

I looked up the postcode for your campsite and popped it into the Offcom mobile signal checker thing and it's not looking like there's very much mobile signal of any kind there.

There aren't many dead spots in the network, but I think you found one of them.
