If you like walking, this Camperstop has some lovely countryside around it and the owner organises weekly walks.



Ring to book if interested. It is run by Andy and his wife, a Dutch couple who are ex motorhomers. We’ve stayed and enjoyed every minute there.
 
As the injury has stoped me from driving for a few months, it will be me watching the the family cook for once. Not sure if it will be a good experience, especially with no alcohol.

Hi thanks for that info.i was planning on staying there a few days as its about half way on the walk and a good resting point.it looks good and its good to get a recommendation for somewhere.
Currently at Vaqueiros so should be there in a week or so (wheather dependend) will give them a call when i have a date.

I'll tell you where we should have been in our van at Christmas; somewhere in Spain heading down to our friend's place near Murcia to spend New Year's Eve with them.

But given that we haven't had the use of the MoHo for the last five months, with no sign of a repair being made any time soon, and now we have filed litigation for a refund I can't see us having a new van in time :(
 
Of to the new forest for 5 days in our motorhome, hoping to see others down there.

Camping....... not saying where, but probably nobody else there and no, not a FLT
 
loading for a trip to Spain again, I cannot stay there long as we have to be back for the 21st because I bought my frequent traveller too early and not realised this years trip. What happens there for Christmas it was shut for the new years eve last year , just up five lorries and 6 kittens in the whole services all night.
 
Normally Spain but this year in Big Pine Florida Keys.Just purchased some Xmas decorations for the Hymer to fit in with the other RVs.Site owners providing the turkey and ham,we all bring other food.Called American Supper in UK but called Pot Luck out here.
