Telescopic dining table

Hi we have bought a 2016 Chasson Welcome 628EB and for the life of us we can not work out how to lower the dining table! Besides the lever to move the table back and forth, there is another lever that has a red plastic end on with with the Mapa logo but unless it’s jammed, it doesn’t seem to do anything. Any help would be greatly appreciated

I just looked at a you tube video of one in review and it appears to have two switches (like mine ) about the utensils drawer - one for the bed and one for the table ?

Our lounge table moves up and down by gripping something that looks a bit like a bike brake lever that's hidden under the table top and then pushing down pretty hard in the middle of the table to compress the central leg. It takes quite a bit of my weight... However, the ability to do it is a bit pointless as the table doesn't form the bed with our model.

picture taken of the lever under the table which I am sure has something to do with lowering it but how I just don’t know. I’ve tried YouTube but to no avail

Is your pic of the under side of the table or where the leg meets the floor? If the latter it looks like a foot pedal that you press down on.
