I got a new motorhome and just saw that the tap is leaking in the kitchen at the base of the faucet. I also see the same(possibly other) leak at the bottom where the pipe goes into the water tank. I am not sure if the same leak. Do I need to replace the entire tap or should I get a replacement o ring?

With the leak at the bottom of the tap, I had that problem and stripped tap, then used silicone grease on the seals and that sorted it.
A photo of taps would help , so if someone has the same.

Pig of a job, on site in Switzerland once I offered to help our neighbours 2 young ladies with the same issue, 3 hours later with my limited tools trying to fix it in a confined space I wish I never bothered as I made it a lot worse, not only did it leak more they also had a loose faucet!

Don't you just hate that when you try & help out & it goes wrong!

I would try a new seal then fit a new tap if needed. Think it was 10mm deep socket needed & I only had pump pliers.

Good luck

You say "New motorhome", then just simply get the supplying dealer to sort it out.

All deities despise the good Samaritan type's normally avenging such acts kindness PDQ. Consider yourself lucky to still have the wheels on your van, "spoken as a serial offender"

I'm not naturally pessimistic but there's one big difference between taps in a house and a motorhome. In a motorhome a tap is much more likely to be exposed to freezing conditions, which can cause cracks in the tap body. That's much more common in a motorhome than worn seals. So keep that in mind when you are looking for the cause of the leak. And if it's affected one tap, it might have frozen in other places too.
