Tap Access Hymer (1 Viewer)

I need to repair/replace micro switch pin my bathroom tap/shower. In order to access torx screw retaking to cap I need to rotate tap. When sink is folded away the panel shown is exposed and looks as if it will give access to tap retaining nut. Will this panel come off, and g on back on easily? It’s a 2012 German import Hymer 562 Any other advice gratefully appreciated

Yes. Take that panel off and you will be able to get to the nut holding the tap in place. Another option would be using a Torx screwdriver bit, and turning it with a spanner. If it is a Torx, Allen key is more normal in my experience.

Now discovered that it is a small plunger holding top cap on, so e torx sockets I purchased not needed. The main reason I use Amazon whenever possible is the somplicity of Amazon’s return system
