Good afternoon Funsters,
I have looked on previous posts to try and get a definitive answer and I'm unable to find one.
I've stopped starting battery on other MoHo's without issue, however with this new install and lots posts around ECU problems, I did not want to just dive in and swop it.
I have a 2011 Ducato based Swift and the battery is not holding its charge, so I have a new one waiting to replace it.
I have 100w of solar which I will disconnect before hand and two new lithium batteries, b2b with an inverter installed.
What wish to know is the correct way to replace the starting battery without causing any damage and or ECU issues?

Regards
Richard

The ECU problems appear to be low voltage related ...not no voltage.
Just replace the battery.....as usual, remove neg terminal first, connect neg last.

I use one of these that plugs into your OBD port and connects to a spare battery I have, which supplies 12 volts to keep the systems alive while you remove and fit a new cab battery.

Changed my 2011 Ducato a couple of years ago with no extra precautions and no airbag issues (yet)
