We are planning a trip to Cinque Terre in Italy in September and will probably travel through Switzerland from Mulhouse, Bescancon area of France. Has anyone got any suggestions for a route through Switzerland and any places to stop ACSI Campsites or Aires please

The easiest route is through the St Gottard Tunnel.
Pay for vignette at the border depending on weight.
I recently stayed on the Marina at Lucerne, 15 CHF for 24 hours. No services except bins and loos, but well worth it for the lake beach and swimming in the lake, magical !
Lovely lake, lovely City, wish I was still there !
At the other end Germinaga on Maggorie has a great free sosta on the lake.
