Swiss Alps - Site Recommendations

Any suggestions for sites in the central Swiss Alps, looking for 4 days start of August, after being in Como. Ideally 2/3 hours max from the top of Como.

With the kids in the Campervan so facilities are needed.

Went to this one year before last in October so it was a bit quiet.
Very nice pitches and clean site with village a 10 minute walk away.
Good for kids also.

Prepare for expense. Considerable expense. Expensive to camp, expensive to shop, expensive to eat. I love the Swiss Alps but avoid after last visit. Maybe exchange rates have improved. I'd cross the border into France. Same alps but from the other side.

Thats ok, this is a bit of a treat of a trip. I've managed to get a month of work and having been to the French alps load its Italian lakes and Swiss alps this time.

Locarno area? There’s a few sites round the top of lake Maggiore. Not been there with van but have seen them when working over there at Losone.

Thats ok, this is a bit of a treat of a trip. I've managed to get a month of work and having been to the French alps load its Italian lakes and Swiss alps this time.

It's a lovely part of the world. Enjoy

Camping Wang in Beatenberg is beautiful. Best views ever. Was welcomed with a beer. Tandom paragliding into Interlaken recommended.
