Well today's job was replacing the runners on our Swift outside wet locker. Just can't believe the state of them on a 3 year old MOHO. I know they are open to all the road grit etc but you would think for a few more quid they would put SS ones on, but then again nothing surprises me with Swift. Give them their due they did use SS bolts and washers Lol. Managed to track a part number down and order a new set from the manufacturer, when I asked Swift for help it was "Contact your dealer" if anyone needs the part number it's ACCURIDE NO
Z7957. I did try and get a SS set but no luck.
Now my question is, when I fit the new ones what is the best way to protect them from all the road grit and grime? I will try and make a cover but wondered if any type of grease/spray would be more helpful? Just thinking ahead for when they arrive.
Thanks in advance.
