We are having problems with Over cab pod coming away from metal cab body

Age of van?

Under warranty?

Pictures might help.

Welcome to the forum.

5 months old it happens when the front lifts up with my lever legs. It was ok until 2 weeks ago, going back to swifts I don’t know how they will repair it.

Welcome aboard.

Never seen that before like that. If they can't fix it maybe there's an argument for the right to rejection option if only a few months (or even if they can fix it). The normal standard is 30 days ish, but can be extended and with something like that it's worth a look.

looks like a connection to chassis has failed or not been connected properly. That's a lot more that flex.

Is it paid in full?
If financed externally maybe the finance company could get involved if needs be.
If some.of the payment was made with a credit card you'll have some ammo/help there too

Good luck, keep us posted.

What are "my lever legs"?
A self-levelling system?
Manufacturer/authorised installer fitted or independent installer upgrade?

I'm sure there are many Low profile Swift MoHo owners, me for one Kon-Tiki - Ducato interested this issue.
Especially those with/ordered/thinking of getting new Ford Transit based MoHo.
Any change of reply to levelling question and updates as time passes.

Exactly my thoughts who fitted it and why is it lifting the habitation and not the main cab chassis.

OP is new paid up member, but without OP's additional and continued feedback, we're just guessing if manufacturing
issue, on new chassis or caused by external factors.
I think we can confidently say it's NOT GOOD.

Lever Legs - hydraulic self levelling system. It is fitted on the jacking points of the van. Fitted by an independent dealer and since the problem - been back to check them and they are fitted correctly. We have had them fitted to previous vans with no problems, and we were clear on buying this van that we wanted them fitting.
