Swift SPECIAL fresh water tanks - special measurements used that you need to understand

I'm not an engineer :D I am just a normal person(y)
No I know that it was tongue n cheek but you do seriously have a lot of great knowledge of your new toy so I’m sure anybody who buys a new Swift will come to you if they have problems p

Maybe if you are flying back from Barbados and your van is at the airport, you are not flying business class so can't use the airlines arrival lounge and showers, so you check your water levels at the van, then switch on the heating if winter and also turn on the hot water, all done remotely so when you arrive you have a nice warm shower. EASY!

Oh! and turn your lights on :D
That's functionality over & above checking water tank level...
How can you expect a proper debate if you don't disclose full information.

But in the real world... the water level would be the same as when you left on your jet setting trip...
It would take half an hour to heat up when switched on manually... barely enough time to make and enjoy a reviving cuppa...

And how does it help if your sooper dooper gadget tells you your water tank is empty?
No shower for stinky you!

Swift are based ooop 't north
Therefore they measure their tanks like they measure their beer

Order a pint oop north and it arrives 75% full with a 2" head of froth.
Order a pint down south and it arrives 100% full of beer, it will be at least a pint and no head!

Now if you had a German motorhome it would have a tank double the size, the problem is it would take ages to pour
But it's proper beer in the north,,not cats p.ss. BUSBY?

I don’t know why Northerners go down south to drink cats p.ss.
Don’t they know they can buy beer instead?

I cannot believe that you would ever fly cattle class. Surely it would be First class only for a man of your wealth and standing?

I filled the fresh water tank in my Swift motorhome and checked on the posh Swift Command system which by the way I can view from anywhere in the whole wide world (y) ;) and the fill level showed 75%, I mentioned this to the engineers today showing them it was 100% full, I was on a dead flat surface, later I had a call from the head of operations at Swift who informed me that 75% was in fact 100% so it was full.

I said that if they thought 75% was 100% then maybe that has been the problems with their quality control in that all motorhomes they are producing are finished to 75% quality, the phone went silent! WTF
Seems to me that Dianne Abbott has joined their tech. team

Why?
Who on earth wants/needs to know their water tank level when away from the van?
Check on the rate of evaporation perhaps?

You wouldn't even be able to do that, as you wouldn't know how much was in there in the first place, well not accurately, just whatever the wonderful control panel that can connect to your 'smart' phone from anywhere in the world, via satellites, decides to tell you on that given day!
