Hi , I have tried without success to contact them directly, even went on the Swift stand at the NEC and was promised I would get a call from someone in parts after I expressed my dissatisfaction at the ability to get replacement parts , but no call.
Eventually a Swift dealer , Choose Leisure in Chilham near Canterbury, got an answer for me , Swift couldn’t supply any replacements for the parts I needed. Blind in Lounge , spring for door etc.
So good luck , but don’t hold your breath!

As far as I'm aware you cannot contact Swift directly, you have to contact one of their dealers such as Brownhills.

Sums them up quite nicely then doesn’t it. Happy to take 10’s of 1000’s of squiddlies from you for their shoddy product, but then drop the customer care like a hot stone.

On this basis alone, I’d steer clear of Swift.

Try O'Leary spares in Hull.
They buy an awful lot of spares direct from the Swift factory.
If he hasn't got it then he might be able to suggest a suitable course of action.
I have used him for various obscure parts in previous years.
His place is like Aladdin's cave.
Also Magnum in Grimsby have a similar operation.
Swift will not deal with you direct.

You’ve not said what your issue is but when we had our Swift (2011-15) we had an electrical problem and dealt direct with Sargent who were excellent.
I don’t see the problem with dealing only through the dealer though, it’s what most manufacturers of products do.

But they don’t

The dealers are their customers, not the public.

Swift are geared up with a system to deal with a handful of customers (their dealers) not everyone who owns a Swift caravan or motorhome, of which there must be tens of thousands

Fair point - makes sense . But unless the end user is made aware of that , it breeds discontent . So in my case , if the swift rep at the nec had told me that (instead of taking my details and not getting back to us) I would have gone straight to the dealer

If they only deal through dealers why waste a fortune on a stand at the nec?
Don’t forget that the dealers pay the converters per salesperson to be on the stand, and pay quite a lot, so fund a lot of the costs, and the February NEC the dealers take their own stock and exhibit in their own right

Spoke to a sales lady a few years ago in Southdowns and think it was about £40k she said it cost them to exhibit at NEC, don’t think they bother now as they don’t seem to sell Concords anymore.

Manufacturers do in the main want the public to go via Dealers, many here have found the dealer experience abysmal (With the exception of Simon-Alan Kerr)

It is the same now with some dealers. I tried to call Travelworld to speak to the parts department and was told to go to the website and fill in a request form enquiry. The bloke then called me back. Shambles.

I assume that is so that they have all the information about your van and the part that you required when they called you back, or that would be the way it is supposed to work ;)

At least they called you… after two requests from a dealer that promised to call/message me about selling me a camper never did… and they happen to advertise on here…🤷🏼‍♂️

My opinions of dealers still haven’t changed….😆😂😂😂

When I had a New Swift Caravan, I joined the Swift Owners Group Forum, you can raise questions, book on Rallies, discuss problems/concerns and you will get some replies, hopefully helpful ones.
Swift Tech Team used to watch over and occasionally comment on the forum, but when they didnt respond to my direct question, although encouraged to do so by over a hundred other Swift Forum Members, the Swift Team didnt respond. I eventually took the forum members advice and cancelled my well outstanding order for new, at the time, Swift 2017 Bolero 68K motorhome.
Looking back, I am So pleased I did and bought a German MH with a better build, no damp problems, and decent dealer servicing.
PS: I am not sure if the Swift Owners Forum still exists, hope it does, it was very helpful to many, a bit like Fun in many ways.
