swift bessecar 596, immobiliser

hi, we have just picked up a 2019 swift bessecarr 596, how do i know if and what type of immobilizer and tracker are fitted if any??insurance quotes are asking for this info.

At that age it probably is a standard factory fit immobiliser, if it had a tracker the dealer should have told you if they know. If not ask the dealer to contact the previous owner. Swifts starter fitting a tracker that needed a subscription to operate and with respect at that age same age as our Burstner most insurance companies won’t insist on a tracker. Ours did when we first bought it brand new it was compulsory to have an approved one fitted but not the case now.

Contact www.sargentltd.co.uk who supplied the tracker system fitted to Swift Motorhomes and should be able to help with the information you need and if it is/can be activated , as stated , your immobiliser may well be factory ( Fiat?) fitted, the Fiat operation handbook should able confirm this.
