We are a retired couple from Sweden and we are thinking of going to UK during April, May, June 2018.
Normally we use both Campsites, Wild-camping and Camper-parks when we are out travelling with our MH.

It is some years since we last visited UK with MH (2003) and I hope there has been some improvement in places to stay outside Campsites.
Last time in 2003 we joined Caravan Club and used their Campings and CL, now called C&MC I think.
This time we would love to have some more freedom and more sites to choose from than just C&MC.

We mostly like to visit towns and villages of various sizes and prefer to stay overnight close nearby.

Would you please share your favourite Websites, Books etc. where we could find lists of places to stay overnight with MH and fill water and dump gray/black water and garbage.

Is it advisable to join several clubs to have access to their sites and which one’s do you recommend?

Thanks for very useful answers!
Is it allowed or "tolerated" to park and stay overnight for one night if there is no sign that prohibit it?

Definitely - as far as I'm concerned and some time even when there is a sign.

Sign or no sign - if you're out of sight & don't leave a mess - who would know?
I also recommend Britstops - but wait until February to get the 2018 book.

Don't discount good old Google's satellite & street view to suss out likely spots near your route/destination.

Depending on circumstances - if you let funsters know whereabouts you'll be/when - you might get some offers of parking on a driveway. Some Funsters are quite hospitable I'm told .

Finally don't forget our host's @Jim has a CL [Jasmin Camping] on the coast at Sutton On Sea and @old-mo CL near Stafford will probably be up & running.
