Hi I want to swap my m/h to propane I have 2 calor gas butane bottles one 6kg and the other 12kg but calor will only swap like for like so unless I pay about 80 quid on new bottle deposits plus about the same for gas I would also be left with 2 empties clogging up the shed.
I would prefer to go with flogas as it's cheaper all round but i think calor is the only bottles they dont exchange so I would still have the 2 gas bottles.
Any helpful I was out there I'm sure some of you must have been in the same situation

You can often buy cheap Calor cylinders from your local recycling centre.

Just try different dealers in our tugging days often used to switch between butane and propane in summer/winter.
As said refillable is much more sensible no heavy cylinders to lug about and you can get gas in any country.

Caravan sites often have cylinders, they may not be quite so fussy when it comes to swapping like for like. Especially if there is an extra fiver in it. ;) ;) ;)

As said try a different dealer ,one that has lots of bottles ,they usually swap size for size without any issues. (y)
