Since August 2019. Not including VW split screens a lifetime ago....
Does anyone know what the two black plastic clips on the side panel of this Suzuki Address are for?
I am in the process buying it from a dealer in Edinburgh, to whom it was sold by a motorhome owner. Anyone on here by any chance?

Carrying the jousting stick? 😄

I don't know, but happy to bump your thread ... my first thought was panniers, although you'd expect them both sides. My second thought was missile launcher ... but that is probably more desireable but less likely 😉

If they are on both sides they may be for holding temporary waterproof seat cover.

If both side then for luggage straps ... either way the dealer should know - he'd have checked if unsure before buying.

I think I was too hasty with my previous reply so thinking about it more seriously, I assume the previous owner used to holiday abroad so the answer is obvious....

It's for his freshly bought baguette and ensures it doesn't get broken whilst he races back to his MH to eat it before it turns rock hard ... 😃

If he gets held up THEN it would soon turn into his jousting stick!!!!😆

Only on one side, so maybe a sidewinder holder if the launcher theory holds water...

On the other, more sensible, hand ah dinnae ken.

Just to clarify so I can come up with more (possibly sensible 😄) suggestions, are they actually clips, ie the have a way to hold something themselves, or are they just curved brackets which need a securing strap etc to attach something to them?

I will need to investigate that further when I pick up the bike. The warning sign bracket might be a contender.

Moped sits like this on back of van. Then you need to mount silly Spanish sign. So you fix a couple of brackets and fix bottom of sign to exhaust, rack, or similar.

I don't think anyone would actually cause 'damage' by attaching brackets to their scooter simply to fit a warning sign. I suspect it's for fishing rods or some other long piece of kit.

I have a Suzuki Address and the fishing line idea by Mel has some credence as I would (if i had thought of it) use that to hold the beach tent when travelling from the free aires 10 miles from the beach rather than paying for being next to them

Warning square, what warning square? Or don't you need one with a trailer?

Spare underpants locators for when you realise the brakes are not up to the job
