Sutton Bank A170

I haven't done Sutton Bank yet, but have recently had a scary time trying to get back up from the bottom of Hartland Quay in Devon. I wonder if others have had a problem there? I found that exiting the middle-point car park on the tight right-hander that I just couldn't get traction in my Kontiki 649. I'm pretty well-loaded up, with a scooter and e-bike on the back, so I'm sure that wouldn't help the front wheels get traction. In the end, the only way I could get up there was to put my air-suspension in ferry-mode to lift up the arse-end and (hopefully) put more weight on the drive wheels, then I rolled back to the flat bend going down to the bottom car park, then took a run at it with someone spotting for me on the blind sharp right-hander to ensure I didn't run into someone coming down the way. I made it back up, but in first gear all the way with the engine screaming away at 4000+ revs as I didn't dare lose momentum by changing gear. Not a moment I will forget in a hurry and a good lesson learnt there...........

The driver makes all the difference sometime :)
