Help needed i am stuck on a site called Runcottage and my surge damper is cracked, we need a replacement asap. Any help will be appreciated.

If you have fittings, just bypass it, you might find it makes little difference, mine doesn't?

WTF is a surge damper?

It's a device that dampens the surge of the water pump pulses. On water systems that do not have micro switches on taps work with pressure sensors. The water pump cuts in and out as the pressure sensors switch. This causes a "pulsing" in the water flow. The surge damper smooths it out.
