He / she has obviously hacked someones account, every van they are (selling) is ridiculously under priced. These scams pop up often on Ebay.

Obviously a bit ignorant - what would you expect to pay for a van of that age/model?

A friend of a friend sent the cash to secure a Bargain Nissan 4X4. Despite being told not to, they were so convinced it was genuine.

The trick was, they were asked to pay a deposit. Then, a few days before they were due to go to London to collect the car. The fraudsters rang them (from a landline). To say, “we have a car transporter going up your way on Saturday, save you coming down, if you can pay the balance today, we can deliver it for FREE”.

They were even more in their grasp now, a bargain and FREE delivery!.

Was it F@@@ it was a scam and they lost the £13,000 they had been saving for years.

There is also a Hobby 750 on here for around £7000, message them to view and bet you get no reply, phone one like this last year and they said it had gone to another branch,

I did that before covid and was told it was in a secure compound on an army base near Edinburgh. I aksed which base as I worked for Captain XX and could arrange with Sergeant Y, head of security, to go and view if they gave permission and the passkey number. For some reason I didn't receive an answer and the mobile number went out of service :)

Not sure if it was a gimmicky sales technique or genuine sale, it was there for about 4 months, then went, assumed sold.
