Summer Meet wkend 20th August Mersea Island

Waldegraves have kindly saved some pitches for us BUT

YOU MUST BOOK BEFORE 30th March 2010

This is a long weekend meet. The pool will be open and there is entertainment both during the day and in the evening.

A car boot sale will be held on site over the weekend so you may pick up a few bargains.

You are welcome to attend Friday-Sunday, Friday to Monday or Thursday to Tuesday.

All pitches are currently being held from the Thursday to the Tuesday and you must specific what dates you want when booking.

We will all be pitched together

Pitch numbers 292 to 300 and 252 to 260 have been specifically reserved for Motorhome Funsters, pitch 297 is already booked.

This is a very popular summer site and gets fully booked extremely quickly so they have been kind enough to hold pitches just for us but ONLY to 30 April 2010.

Price examples for 1 motorhome and 4 people - £74 Friday to Monday
£122 Thursday to Tuesday
dogs and awnings are chargeable and not included in these prices.

There is a possibility of a vineyard tour with wine tasting, (if they are open) and I am waiting a response will list details on this separately once I have them.

Waldegraves have emailed me requesting that you book your pitches by 30 MARCH not april, as they are taking hi volume bookings for August at the moment.

You only need to pay a deposit when you book.

Trying to work out what days we can come then we will book. Looks good and we can even bring a boat with us. We have friends that live on Mersea on a house boat so will be able to catch up with them whilst there. Has anyone else booked?

Waldegraves have confirmed you just need to pay a deposit (about £30 dependent on length of stay) with the balance due 21 days before holiday start date.
