Having recently installed another 200w panel on my roof, which is joined to my existing 200w in parallel. I couldn't fail to notice that the existing wiring is a bit of a miss match.
Both panels have Solar cables of 4mm sizing...but the cable run along the van roof and into the Victron mppt looks very much like a fairly normal twin automotive cable...would changing this improve the performance or is it fine to keep it.?

Beat me to it Jev88 - that's my go to resource for cable sizing and information on voltage drop etc.

jumar - yes, if your cable run from the panels to the MPPT is standard automotive cable then it's probably a good idea to change it even if it's rated sufficiently for the current.

This is because PV cable is constructed differently and designed to be UV resistant and weatherproof etc.
