I assume that this is the wrong place to ask this but I cannot find anywhere else. I have just had a message that my subscription has expired after a year but I paid for three years , under some offer. What can I do ? As I have already paid, I am not paying again. Come to think of it when that offer came up I still had a few months left and I assumed that it would continue when my ongoing sub expired but it did not so I lost out there again. Has anyone else had a similar problem ?

Jim should be along soon to sort it out. In the meantime click on your forum name at the top of the page and that will bring your account settings up. In the list on the left hand side click on subscriptions and that will tell you how much you have left.

Hi Phil,

You have two different subs, in that one of them is a one year expiring in a week, the other was a 5 year sub bought at Christmas. The problem we have is that the system doesn't care that you have another sub, it insists on telling you your old one is ending. But your subs are good to 1 July 2029, as any overlap was added to your account (y)

Thank you Jim, I was starting to question my aging memory.

I’m having a similar problem - I got an email yesterday from Jim, reminding me to renew subs. I did so, no problem. But when I looked at my bank app it showed 2 payments of £20 pending, rather than 1.

I emailed Jim at 5.17pm yesterday to ask for clarification, but no response yet - fortunately both payments still only showing as pending.

I appreciate my email would’ve been after “normal office hours “, but timing of this thread has made me wonder if my email has gone astray?

That's £20 for subs and £20 into the 'Jim'll fix it fund.

Joking! He who should be exalted will be along shortly.

And I’ve now had an email (presumably automatic) to say my subscription has expired - despite having had a receipt for renewal yesterday!

Hi, If your subscription had expired, you wouldn't have been able to make that post :D

You had two subscriptions running. Your standing order which was due to renew yesterday, and the new subscription you bought yesterday. The expired notification was auto notified when your refund was approved and sent. (y)
