Submersible pump not working

Hi Guys off to New forest tomorrow from Leicestershire, just tested my submersible pump, not working, has 12v supply to it so need a replacement. It is a

Reich Twin Submersible Water Pump (19 Litres) anyone know where I can buy one on the way down​

Get you hand in the tank and give the pump a good whack or two on the tank wall with the pump turned on.
No guarantee but the pump impeller/s could be stuck if it hasn't been used for a while

Thanks have tried that, the impellor is turning by hand but nothing going on the electrics, I have tested up to the the supply and the whale pump I have replaced it with is working fine.

I ordered one before Xmas, it's due in this week, although not seen any indication that it will arrive yet.

Luckily I had a spare already, so I'm not in a hurry.

Catpirate I would strongly recommend you order another one as a spare, complete with connector plugs and sockets. You will need it one day, as these pumps only seem to have a 3-4 year life.
(My 5 year old van is now on it's third one)

Thank you Brains, I have already ordered another, and a spare whale just in case. My system needs a positive supply to the hot water and heating to work on electric, gas will work for heating only without. Having tested the system a couple of weeks ago everything was ok. Then at the last minute a failure. I appreciate your advice and will (as i usually do) carry a spare.

I gave it a hearty thump or several on the side of the tank.
It didn't immediately correct but I must have dislodged something because a couple of hours later, normal service was resumed.
Lucky?
Couldn't buy a lottery ticket.

These pumps have twin chambers.
I'd guess one has failed, the other will follow soon.
I'd order a spare today !

Had to change the pump on our Burstner A747. It only lasted 16yrs.
It packed in whilst touring in the New Forest.
I understand Hard or Soft waters can have an impact.
