Streetview got my car on holiday

A few years ago were parked o the sites at Dieppe in France n were confronted by the google car coming off the site, Mick was carrying a few boxes of wine n I had a large bottle of brandy under my arm, when we viewed the google earth sure enough there was our rV then pictures of us struggling under weight of the booze, luckily as we got near the rv we were not on the picture so no one was any wiser as to who it was.
😂😊🍾🍷😇🤪

this was me on my walk with 2 of the dogs, then shaking hands with the google camera guy (thanking me) who had asked me to ask a van driver to move his van a little so he could get better pics of the top of the hill ...probs 5 years ago. I didnt realise I was so blurred back in those days :talking:

Yeah, that's something different. If a member says they're from Crosby, and you go to the member's page and click on 'Crosby', then a new page opens up for Google maps, with a pin where Google thinks 'Crosby' is. For Norwich, Google pins at Princes St. If you've got your location as 'Cornwall', then it shows the whole of Cornwall.

The 'member map' is (was) different - it's meant to show you where all the members actually are. But it doesn't work. It does show you, but it doesn't show me.

Click on my location and see where you end up......................just saying :roflmto:

Well I am so pleased that it's not possible to see our motorhome on streetview. The car is parked on the drive and can be seen though.

Small world - I've parked in that spot several times while waiting in Lincoln's. One of the kids had a tutor just down the road.
We thought Hingham a lovely and pretty village.

We were staying a few miles away at the Holiday Property Bond (HPB) at Barnham Broom, but enjoyed exploring the village.

Tombola always mean to go have a proper look at the Dream.
RobbyMClark they have done a decent job over there tbh. God walk all round by the pond and back up. Links to the mersey valley trail aswell, can easily spend a few hours over there.
Was only yesterday I thought, wow doesnt seem 2 minutes ago all these trees were just shrubs, its blending invery nice now

Well funnily enough, I was Google Streetviewed yesterday. I happened to be up a ladder installing a solar panel on the motorhome roof at the time. The lady driver clocked me and gave me a cheery grin! Looking forward to having a look in a few weeks time to check on my handywork.

Also luckily, it was a lovely sunny day, the lawn was recently cut and it wasn't bin day, so the house should look quite presentable. 😀
