As the sat dish is out of order at the moment we are relying on the fire stick for “entertainment” . Other than Netflix , Amazon , Disney and iplayer and good recommended apps I should load down ?. Itv aparantly doesn’t allow me to when abroad which puts a kibosh on the mrs watching the cobbles .

Suggestions welcome

Get a UK sim like Popit mobile
on a rolling contract 100gb for £25 a month with no limitations abroad
That‘ll give you approx 100 hours a month of U.K. live TV and no VPN required

Or get a VPN client on the firestick from any good VPN provider that supports it. Then you appear as in UK regarless of which wifi network you on. (This is the fix to make ITV/iplayer work).

Be careful, unlimited data with Id is only on the UK, I think you are limited to something like 25gb abroad, be careful, it could get very expensive!

Get out and about and stop watching so much TV!? ;)

Personally I just download a few films and series before we leave and only watch the occasional thing 'live'. The main ones (BBC, ITV, Channel 4) suffice for our needs.

RWG for unlimited data abroad (within your allowance of course) We are using a 200GB for £20 at the moment.

Mine even drops out in UK. The Maroc Telecom sim worked perfectly and so does my O2 phone sim.
I have just been migrated to O2 from virgin who used to use ee, and have gone from a perfect signal to struggling on every site we have been, O2 seem to be the worse network in the UK outside of built up areas.

O2 is definitely terrible in South East, but works very well in Midlands and Wales. Ee wont work at our home or didnt used to, need to try again when we get back.
