Heard that the Stratford Upon Avon River Festival http://www.stratforward.co.uk/events/stratford-river-festival/whats-on is a good free festival & understand that C&CC ran a rally at Stratford Racecourse Touring Park (CV37 9SE) at the last one - perhaps this would be a good idea as a Fun rally for next year?
We can't commit to organising this one as likely to be busy being a removals & relocation service for our uni son around that time again next year but would be one we would love to attend if we can.
Anyone else think this might be a good one & consider trying to set up & run a rally for it?
19/11/17 UPDATE - this rally is now open for bookings - please message us (PM) with your email address for a booking form
Please note only "Booked" places are secure - those on the "Interested" list need to complete the booking form & pay the deposit to be sure of a place.
Rally info.
Arrivals day is Friday 29 June from 11am-8pm - please note that you need to arrive on this day to come on this rally. Departure by midday on Monday 2 July.
Cost is £28 total per motorhome (RV or caravan - we like them all ) for 3 nights for maximum of 2 adults - please contact us if you require more than this. £10 deposit is required to secure your place then the remaining £18 to be paid in full on arrival - correct amount of cash in a sealed envelope marked with your forum name and vehicle registration please.
The toilet & shower block with bins, water tap & Elsan waste point at the Racecourse are a short walk from our rally field. If you need to fill up with water on arrival there is a tap in front of the stables near the Racecourse entrance which you should be able to drive up to that we can direct you to but best to come with full water tanks & empty waste if you can as it will be busy.
Dogs are welcome but must be on leads or tethered in the rally field.
Generators can be used but only for short periods when necessary during the day but please let us know on arrival as you will be pitched away from any it might annoy!
Barbecues are allowed so long as they are off the ground.
There is a car boot sale on the Saturday morning in another field at the Racecourse plus the Stratford River Festival just a short walk away on both Saturday & Sunday as well as all the lovely attractions of the town
