storage problem ??

been phoning around every motorhome storage facility within 60 miles of Brighton as I need storage for my Adria from mid november until possibly End of March when I go to my house in Thailand .

But there seems no spaces available with anyone ????? This has me worried as I cannot leave it unattended for 4 months where i usually park

If you're that desperate you might consider a little further. Try Mariners Farm in Gillingham, Kent. Where I keep mine. Google Maps says it's 75 miles from Brighton. No idea if thry have spaces though. Gillingham on direct train route from London Victoria:

if your asking for 3 or 4 months a year they will be less enthusiastic as the want a full years rent

I use Brookfield Storage a few miles N of Bognor. I don’t think they have any space at present but they were talking about possibly extending a few weeks back brookfieldstorage@hotmail.co.uk
Might also be worth chatting to Limmer Pond Nurseries, it is a CL not a storage facility but when I stayed there bridging our move dates I sensed they had a vey helpful and flexible approach to how they used their land and facilities 01243 543239.

I'm at woolmans wood Rochester no idea if they have room as they are in the process of laying hard standing across most of the site. Don't bother ringing any numbers you find on a web search as they will be no longer in use. I can pm you the number to ring if you are interested.

We used to live in Hove and stored the van at Littlehampton Marina - and still do! Good facilities CASSOA Gold and pay monthly. there seem to be a few spaces so give them a try - Arun Storage at Littlehampton. There is very good cafe on site and you can walk to Littlehampton Station from the storage area - train to Brighton possible.

Romsey is 77 miles from you, the storge will do montly contracts if requested, excellent storage. I used it for a month when I had my drive way replaced. Try this link

When we had our house roof renewed a couple of years ago we stored the mo-ho for two months in the secure compound of one of the club sites. It was neither cheap nor nearby but other less expensive storage facilities we found nearer to home were not acceptable to our insurers.
