Stopover aire near Bruges

Any recommendations for a 1 night stopover between calais and Bruges, would prefer to stop in Belgium though. We are booked on Memling but travelling late the night before. I have read you can just pull in on the ring road? Any advice

Don’t park up on the ring road, it’s too noisy.

Park up near Memling or one of its commerce areas.

We have stayed at Memling many times and just parked nearby if full or awaiting opening (though they did have an auto barrier) .

Just something to consider, but I have twice seen miles of queues on the A16 at the Belgian/French border. All vehicles were being checked but I've no idea why as I was travelling in the opposite direction both times. I don't know how often they do this but it could easily add another hour to your journey to your crossing.
