Hi I have an inverter question, I have 2 Sterling Pro ‘pure’ sinewave inverters, 600W and 1600W 12V to 230V. Both purchased secondhand and running ok after several circuit repairs.

On both models the voltage readings on the display are accurate , but the power readings are not very accurate and read 00 until I apply a large load of at least half the maximum power rating is applied.

Is this normal for these models ?

Maybe just me John, but if they are still not working properly 'after several circuit repairs', I'd start again.
Having a suspect electrical item burbling and fizzing in the van is not a good idea.

Hi
Thank you for your reply and safety concern you are right of course. I have designed and built inverters for my work I am very familiar with many. The Sterling converter monitoring however is a bit crude , so I was just wondering if anybody else owns one of these and has experienced similar Issues. I see that the under voltage measurement and alarm can be an issue, fortunately both of mine are accurate.
