I'm a newbie had a wobbly box when adam was a lad
This thing is driving me to drink :banghead: (LARGE BUSHMILLS NO ICE) I unlock the mh about a minute later there's a low beep and the alarm kicks off. It says in the manual that it has an auto rearm that activates if you don't open a door after unlocking tried that no change please help or Bushmills distillery will have to put on an extra shift

We don‘t have the same make of alarm but have the same issue of automatic re-arming. If, after we’ve turned off the alarm, you don’t open either the passenger’s or driver’s door, NOT THE HAB DOOR, the alarm resets and goes off after 25 seconds.
Try disarming your alarm and then immediately open one of the front doors. So long as the door is opened, it can be closed again immediately without the alarm resetting.

Tried that, still no joy, how anyone can think it is a good idea for the internal sensors to rearm in a motorhome is beyond me.

Sorry that didn’t work for you. Our Sigma alarm used to rearm as discussed above until we sorted the door thing. I know your alarm is different but I’ve copied the section from our alarm manual. Maybe there’s something that assists. (My emphasis)

“8.6 - ANTI-DISTRACTION REARMING AND AUTO LOCK
The anti-distraction function prevents the vehicle from being unintentionally left unprotected if, after the system is armed, it is accidentally disarmed. The system automatically rearms if no other activity is detected (ex. door opening, ignition ON). If a door is opened after disarming, the function will be disabled.
The door-lock security function automatically locks all doors while driving, (20” after ignition key has been turned “ON”.
All doors will automatically unlock when ignition key is turned “OFF”.”

Car alarm fitted to a Motorhome!

in a car, no one would disarm it, and open the back door and sit in the car like Billy No Mates

Glad you’ve got it sorted. After we had the ‘problem’ we were at a site in Spain where a chap had the same issue. He was going out of his head. My better half went over and suggested what we did. It worked and he offered her a glass of wine! It seems there are a few of us out there who’ve had the same. 👍
