I know that there have been threads previously on this subject and I have posted before.

I have just been into the service department of the new Stellantis facility located at Cribbs causeway near Bristol. They have confirmed that they are a Fiat Professional service centre and can handle large vehicles and motorhomes (including Peugeot) and can carry out class 4 & 7 MOTs.

I asked about comformatic gearboxes but the reply was that they have master technicians with years of experience! One used to work in Motus in Gloucester for many years.

Wish I had known that yesterday, had to drive to Yate to book in MOT at the South Glos place as they have not been answering phone for a week! Was looking around for somewhere else to go but couldn’t decide on a place.

Cancel and rebook! 👍🏻

Hopefully not the guy from Gloucester who was giving misinformation about Comfortmatic servicing.

I have already decided to go back to Adams Morely next year for the service. Just having the MOT here and I quite like the South Glos MOT centre so I will stick with my booking even though I have to be there at 7am 🙁😱 the only slot they had left.

Annie,

When they do the Mot at yate they weigh the van and if you ask nicely they will include it on the paper mot they give you. He told me it is calibrated and is as accurate as the weighbridge on site.

The Yate MOT station is so easy, really nice staff there, and plenty of room. I have been to a few stations in the past where it was difficult to get out of the motorhome due to confined space.

Would be interesting to have the weight again. Last time we went to the weighbridge at the Sort It centre when the van was new and we filled it up with water and diesel and our stuff and ourselves.
Currently it is drained, more or less empty of stuff and even does not have that monster of a battery as not heard about it yet.

Yes, I find it easy and the chap is very nice and always waiting for me ready to go with the test.
As I suspected, the office lady is on half term break with her children and that’s why no one answering the phone.
