We used to take our Moggy Minor but I can't show a car and take the moho so I really want to get a static engine.Hopefully we will go again in 2021 taking our 1946 VW Beetle to display. As an entrant this show makes a great free long weekend away even if it's only 15 miles from home.
Hi, thanks for the info.We always have a steam fair at Rainscombe House, Oar, Marlborough ,Wilts. It’s not the biggest but a lovely setting, the proceeds go to Wiltshire Bobbyvan Trust, which I became involved with back in 1998.

Hi, we have been going to them the last couple of years and take one of the bikes with us to display. It will be a shame if non run next year.Since I have been retired, I have been showing at about 22 rally’s a year spread over most of England.
Because of the Virus every one of them has had to be canceled this season.
Its not looking good for next year either, dozens of clubs have had to make the decision not to run, it takes months of planning ahead, marques, toilets, beer, food ,car parking etc as a member of two clubs ( I’m a steward ) the clubs simply cannot take the financial risk of even trying to put a show on
If you are referring to the Shrewsbury show then yes you can take a car and the moho provided that you book in early for a place on the camp site. It's also advisable to be there on the Thursday to be reasonably sure of getting a good spot for the moho and car. In 2019 they had changed the system and had marked out plots to try to prevent the crowding in.We used to take our Moggy Minor but I can't show a car and take the moho so I really want to get a static engine.
