just saying but l think that’s the problem there is now masses to trawl through on the original thread and that takes time and it’s difficult to consume all that information.
It would simplify it if perhaps this could be a new thread on Starlink.

The search facility works very well.

It’s both a curse and a blessing. A big topic has lots of posts, so somewhat more difficult to navigate (I reiterate how well search works)… on the plus side, all the information is in one place as opposed to dissapated across numerous threads.

I think asking the question on that thread would have been a better move as it has a following now of people who do all sorts with their dish.
A new thread may get missed? Just my two pennies worth.

I guess you would need to do what I did, and make a housing tall enough so you can mount it with the leg in the stowed position.
That only involves drilling about an inch hole in the casing to disconnect the leg motor feed after putting it in the stowed position.

Wait for the new version. It does not have the pole attachement or motors. You can unscrew the kickstand from the back.
someone will come along in the near future and make a mount for that.

Yes, I heard about this There are a couple of YouTube videos showing it.

May well move my existing dish tj the house and get the new dish for a roof mount which would be the perfect solution

Apparently there's also a mini dish in the works. Should have lower power requirements. But it'll probably also have lower bandwidth and potentially not as good where there's poor signal.
