Stabiliser instability

The corner stabiliser on my motorhome has started to unwind rather than wind the leg up when extended. There is a hole in the far end for a split pin and washer (maybe) and there is also. A hole at the hex head end, on the screw side of the bracket where the collar is on the first pic.
Should there be a split pin and a washer at that end too?

If you're abroad it's worth checking the EHU for reverse polarity.

Probably needs a roll pin and washer, have a look at the one one the other side to check

yes it would need split pin & washer to prevent iy either unwinding itself on raising or falling like it was winding down.
