Hi all,

Today went to visit the motorhome after maybe three weeks. One of the spotlights has dropped out of the ceiling and the gold plastic cover has broken and wont reattach. I have managed to get the fitting screwed back in to the ceiling, but the cover wont reattach looks like the plastic tabs have broken off when it hit the floor (see pictures.)

It's a 2001 swift gazelle, so I'm not expecting to find direct replacements, even though that would be lovely. Can I just replace with any 12v spotlight that will fit in the hole that is already there, or do I need to be more picky.

thanks in advance

You can use any 12v spotlight will do, yours has a halogen bulb modern ones are LED and take about a fifth of the power. Plenty on Amazon & Ebay.

Change them all and replace with LED’s, as Lenny has said much less power consumption.

Sorry for delayed response, thank you for the replies. Hopefully going out there tomorrow to get measurements of light fitting.

Update.

New spotlights fitted, and also found some reading lights we both liked to replace the switched lights in the lounge. Here are some before pictures

And some after pictures.

Sorry for the delays after your help, but the powers that make decisions took their time to be made on designs and colours

Really pleased, such a simple and nice facelift. Thank you for all your responses!
