I'm a bit puzzled by the advert for the new Cathargo Malibu I/T 450. Apparently it has a revolutionary floor plan concept.
But it looks very familiar, very much like the 6 year old Bavaria I 700 parked on my drive.
And both 7 metres. Can you spot the difference that makes the Malibu revolutionary?

About £45,000?

They both look like very small lounges where you spend most of your time.
I agree. I don't understand the current vogue for taking all the lounge space to put island or twin beds in sub 7m. I also dont get why Cathargo don't offer any choice of lounge layouts, we have freinds with a C Tourer, sitting on the twist quickly gives me back ache but they're almost all the same.

Aye I understand the need/desire for the twin singles for many as folk either can't or don't want to climb over a partner for numerous visits to the toilet through the night etc. I get it but personally I don't want to sit in the seat I've been in driving all day ...I like a sofa to lounge on when parked up normally joined by a dog or two . And the tables are another thing , why are they always so big ? It seems to be all bedroom and dining room in many vans, but it's a lounge you spend the most time awake in.

Choice of orange and off cream covers or faded brown? same layout as an Adria twin Steps up to the beds on the Carthago

They both look sub optimal with a bed at the back and garage. All very old school, time to move on to better designs!
Strange comment as it is the most popular layout that is why so many converters offer this layout.
We are on our 3rd A Class with twin singles wouldn't have any other layout, comfortable beds and most important a huge garage.

Why strange it’s pretty much the only layout offered, de facto it’s the most popular. There seems little innovation in the 7m A Class, perhaps we have come to a point where converters feel there is no need to innovate further. For those that desire a larger lounge, larger kitchen and larger bathroom there is practically no choice at all. Perhaps with people getting older that market has just disappeared.
