So I am just wondering if I have this right. Apologies for the poor explanation…..
12v leisure battery and solar connection. (I don’t need an inverter or an electrical hook up.)

Solar panel charge regulator – to solar panel
Solar panel charge regulator - to leisure battery - to split charge relay – to vehicle battery.
Solar panel charge regulator - to fuse box.
is that right?

thank you

My solar controller is DIRECT to battery and direct to solar.
I don't go near any charge relays.
Do connect battery first so box knows what battery you have before then connecting solar.

You need a fuse inline with the split charge relay at the starter battery.
Both Split charge relay & solar regulator should connect direct to the leisure battery.
Assuming your fuse box is close to the Leisure battery you can connect the solar regulator to it.
