Spinflo (Thetford) Caprice 2040 Spark Generator

Just realised the ignition spark button on the Caprice 2040 cooker in my Motorhome has failed.

I am assuming because no spark generated that I am going to need to find a new Spark Generator Box for this model? Just done a quick search for part number SSPA0399 over £100.

Has anyone experienced this problem with their motorhome cooker and am I correct in my assumption being the spark Generator Box?

If anyone can advise would be grateful.

Have you checked your PSU fuse box for a possible fuse (ignitions/igniters ? ) for the 12v supply to the spark generator, it would also be worth checking the 12v supply and earth connections at the spark generator.

Thank GeoffnDee will have a look at the PSU fuse box in the morning good point! Likewise, will check connections thank again much appreciated
