elddis majestic 155
Hi, we have a 2010 elddis majestic 155 (Peugeot boxer). When we put the wipers on the speedo dips and rises and we loose a little power. Does anyone know what might be causing this?
many thanks

Similar happened to us. Just hadnt really tightened the battery terminals.

Battery terminals, earth straps etc. would be my guess.

That's a clean them all job, not necessarily replace.

As has been advised , it would be worth checking the battery connections etc but the engine/gearbox to body earth cable could be worth replacing , they have been known to cause electrical and other faults as there can be a problem with the earth cable terminal connection to the cable looking ok but having a resistance ,due to corrosion , between them.

Thanks guys, I’ll take a look at the earth tomorrow, fingers crossed it’s something simple

We used to have Ford D series tricks for our roadmarking vehicles. Vacuum wipers which slowed as the revs dropped. Made going over Shap in a rain storm interesting.
Mind you the Fords were better than the ex Navy Bedford TK.
