Sorry didnā€™t notice that
i think i may have found one, just waiting for a reply off the seller to be certain. the length of the LHD ones are 1500mm but RHD are 2200mm. the RHD one is also nearly twice the price!!! ā˜¹ļø

From experience in older ducatos Peugeots the shorter cable will work but if your old one has been removed measure it and see how it goes against the 1500mm

Have you tried the main dealers?
sometimes they're competitive and if you're cheeky and ask for a discount, you might get it at trade price.

i think thats what the problem is in my case, the old one is roughly 1500, haven't removed it yet but have stuck a tape measure along most of its length, when i took the speedo console off the cable was all twisted and mangled behind it as if it had come out and got hooked up on something, (possibly because it was too short and under tension).
not 100% if thats the cause but it does seem quite a tight fit.
just hoping that the nylon cog in the gearbox didn't get mangled at the same time otherwise thats another part i will be having to search for. šŸ˜‚

Coastal motorhomes may not list it, but maybe able to source it, or provide you the exact part number to assist your search. Iā€™ve always had fantastic service, and help from them, with good prices too.

well i just had a message back regarding the cable from an ebay seller but its a no go, mine happens to be the rare nut type, (had to be the rare one of course) šŸ˜‚, so i will try the guys you recommended. i've just checked their location and i'm working 5 minutes away from them next week so will just drop off the old cable so they can copy it.
thanks for the recommendation.
