Could anyone provide me with the definitive speed limits for a 3.5 tonne moho towing a single motorcycle trailer in Spain and in Portugal. I have so many conflicting figures that it is more than confusing:mad:..............Motorways, Dual Carriageways and Single Carriageways will suffice please?

Would suggest you contact the relevant Embassies in London if you still require the info!

This is from the CAMC website. Towing will be the same as a car and caravan. You motorhome is 3,500kg plus trailer thus you will need the Angles Mort stickers in France.

Be wary of their figures they often get it wrong.
e. g. Over 3.5t on motorways didn't take into account if different speed limits so their info was wrong.

In spain the limit for the small motorhome is 120kph. With a trailer added the limit is 80kph.
A large motorhome the limit is 90kph & with a trailer added it is 80kph

The same limits as above would apply to non Mway dual carriageways, except those signed at 100kph.
on "A" roads alone the small MH is 90kph & the large one 80kph, unless there is a lower signed limit.
when towing 80 kph is the maximum everywhere unless there is a lower limit sign.

The maximum speed on secondary roads is 90kph unless signed lower , as many are.
Then towns & cities have new limits .here;

What the difference is between a "large· & a "small" motorhome ,I've no idea. except it could be under /over 3,5T

Definitely the "car & caravan" limit is wrong as anything towing here is 80kph.
