Limited motorhome and campervan hire previously.
I am preparing to install an awning light.
What's favourite? Supply available when via hab power is switched or supply via direct hab battery feed.
The way I see it one cannot be left on, the other can be on when is van is all locked up and powered down.
Currently I have a Hab power supply not too far from mounting point for light, but can organise a fused supply from Hab battery I think.
These Devons are so well screwed together that cabling is harder than it looks.
Thanks

For safety and accidental battery drain I would power it through the hab system. Being an external light if the van was unattended say parked up and not in use, should any water enter through the hole for the wiring if the circuit was ive could cause a short.
